Trukamelo Digital

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Trukamelo Digital does not collect, store or share any personal data.

Data we collect

None. Trukamelo Digital does not collect any personal or usage data. Specifically:

  • No account or sign-in is required.
  • No analytics or tracking tools are used.
  • No ads are shown.
  • It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, calendar or files.
  • It only connects to the Internet to load the content it displays.
  • It does not store your reading history or any information about you.
  • It only keeps a temporary copy of the news on the device, so you can read it offline.

Permissions the app requests

The app only uses the permissions it needs to work. None of them are used to collect information about you:

PermissionWhat it is for
InternetDownload the news, images and content the app displays.
Network stateDetect whether you are online, so it can show you the saved content when you have no coverage and let you know when it returns.

On iPhone and iPad the app requests no permissions at all: it does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or notifications.

Data stored on your device

So you can keep reading even if you lose your connection, the app stores in your device's local storage a copy of the news it has already downloaded: the headlines, the article text and the images. That copy expires after seven days and is replaced with new content every time the app refreshes.

This information is public Trukamelo Digital content, not information about you: it does not record which articles you opened, when or for how long. It all stays on your device, is never sent anywhere and is completely deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also clear it from the app itself or from your device settings.

What you type into the search box is sent to the trukamelo.net server only to fetch the results for that search. It is neither stored on the device nor linked to you.

Internet connection

To display its content, the app connects to trukamelo.net, the official Trukamelo Digital website, and downloads the news and its images from there.

As with any Internet connection, that server automatically receives basic technical data (your IP address and device type) needed to deliver the content, and handles it under its own policies. That data is not used to identify you, is not combined with other information and is not shared with anyone.

The app only reads published content: it sends the server nothing of yours — no comments, no forms, no data from your device.

News content

News articles are shown inside the app exactly as published on trukamelo.net, using the system's web content viewer. That viewer is set to reading mode: it stores no cookies or web storage from the article, and keeps no browsing history.

Some articles include material hosted on other services (for example, YouTube videos or social media posts). That material is delivered directly by the corresponding service, which may receive technical data about the connection and apply its own privacy policy. If you would rather that did not happen, simply do not play the embedded item.

Links to other apps and websites

The app includes buttons that take you outside of it:

  • The official website, trukamelo.net.
  • Social media profiles (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • The links inside an article, which open in your browser.
  • Sharing an article or the app itself through whichever app you choose.
  • The developer's website.

Once you tap one of those links and leave the app, this policy no longer applies — the policy of the service you land on does.

When you share, you send the message yourself from the app you pick: we do not see who you share it with or what you write.

Backups

Your device may include the app in its backup (iCloud or your Google account). The temporary copy of the news described above is excluded from those backups and from transfers to a new device, so the backup contains no personal information of yours. You can turn backups off in your device settings.

App store data

Separately from the app, the store you download it from (Google Play or the App Store) collects its own installation data and may send me anonymous reports if the app crashes. Those reports contain technical error data, not information that identifies you. They are governed by each store's privacy policy:

Third parties

We do not share, sell or hand over information to anyone, because we collect none. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or social SDKs.

Children

Since the app does not collect any personal data, no data is collected from children either.

Your rights

Even though we do not process any personal data of yours, if you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of any personal data we might process. To exercise it, email me at angelm2b07@gmail.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever adds features that process data, we will update this page before releasing those changes and revise the "Last updated" date.
